As a family-owned winery, we are passionately committed to crafting exceptional wines sourced from the finest Texas-grown fruit. Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, we take pride in producing handcrafted vintages that reflect our passion for winemaking. Our 12-acre vineyard, planted between 2018 and 2019, showcases a meticulously curated selection of varietals, including four acres of Tannat, two acres of Souzao, two acres of Clairette Blanche, two acres of Petite Syrah, and two acres of Montepulciano.

The winery is the largest purchaser of French and American White Oak barrels in the state of Texas. Guided tours are conducted 7 days a week at scheduled times (please see our "Visit" for more information). The production and bottling operation is a year-round process. Our "state of the art" Italian designed bottling equipment was customized just for Becker Vineyards and will process 55 bottles per minute. Many of our wines are fully distributed within the state of Texas and can be purchased through retail outlets. Most of the wines we feature at the winery are winery exclusive.

C.L. Butaud was founded in Austin, Texas, in 2014 by husband and wife Randy and Brooke Hester. Their mission was to create ultra-premium wines entirely from Texas vineyards, building on their experience working at some of the most acclaimed Napa Valley wineries. The Hesters’ winemaking journey began in 2006 in Napa Valley, where they set out on a 10-year path of training, education and research under noteworthy winemakers and mentors.

Roughly 45 minutes from Downtown Austin, you’ll find Flat Creek Estate. Our pristine 80-acre property features an elegant tasting room, our full-service restaurant – The Bistro at Flat Creek Estate, a covered pavilion, and a one-of-a-kind, 18-hole disc golf course. Combined with our beautiful vineyards and full working winery, you’ve got an all-day destination for couples, groups, and families.

What began as an acquaintance as winemakers in the Hill Country became a collaboration between William “Bill” Blackmon and Chris Brundrett; one that’s based on a shared winemaking philosophy and a vision for what the Texas wine industry is capable of. Bill and Chris agree that great wines are not made, but grown in the vineyard. They also believe that wine should be inspired by the pleasure that is shared with an extended community of friends and family over a bottle. The creation of each new vintage depends greatly upon these two priorities.
